I'm sure you guys are enduring the heat like we are, the best way you know how, right? We are trying to keep busy to pass the time quickly until we get word to go get Kena and especially for that cool, fall crisp air to arrive. For us it was a great opportunity to take out our puzzle and put it together for this last leg of our trip. Can we just tell you how Great our God is - He is devoted, faithful, close, awesome, extreme, humongous, and the list could go on. So far He has provided money for this adoption in ways we never thought possible this time last year. Friends and family have been a huge help and we don't know how to thank you enough. When it's all said and done, the total cost will be around $35,000! The two trips themselves are around $5,000 a piece just so you have an idea.
In regards to the
puzzle, here is what we have left below (give or take a few pieces, we got carried away) Can you believe it? Can you also believe how hard this is to keep away from Jay, yep, pretty hard. We had some moments. The other two did great at chipping in and puzzle master daddy came in and put the icing on the cake. Only 72 more pieces to go to complete it and they are $20 a piece. If you would like to contribute, hit the "DONATE NOW" button on the right-hand side of the page under Jay's picture. Or you can write a tax-deductible contribution to Adoption Ministry of YWAM, P.O. BOX 512, Puyallup, WA 98371. Make it payable to Adoption Ministry of YWAM, but don't write our names anywhere on the check. Just send a note with it telling them it is for David and Laura Corbett. They will then mail you a receipt.
* Extra Frequent Flyers or American Express Points? You can donate those as well, just leave me a comment with your contact info and I won't publish it.
Again, words cannot touch how thankful and grateful we are to you guys in helping us bring Kena home. Thank YOU from the bottom of our hearts,
The Corbetts
